Pledge 1% is a global movement that encourages and empowers founders and companies to pledge 1% of equity, time, product or profit. Â Together, we are creating a new normal in which giving back is baked into the DNA of companies of all sizes (as early as possible).
Pledge 1% makes giving easy by offering turnkey tools, resources and best practices for founders at various stages of a company’s growth cycle. We also provide value through visibility, perks and a community of like-minded leaders. Â
Pledge 1% was founded in 2014 by Marc Benioff, Scott Farquhar, Ryan Martens, Ron Conway, and Seth Levine. Since its launch, more than 800 companies in more than 25 countries—including Salesforce, Atlassian, Box, Yelp, Docusign, Twilio, General Assembly, MediaMath and Bluewolf — have joined the Pledge 1% movement and committed to making the community a key stakeholder in their businesses.
